“The Simpsons” Imagines A Pleasant Presidential Election In “The Debateful Eight”

For nearly three decades, The Simpsons has been providing its own clever brand of commentary on everything from pop culture to politics. It was only a matter of time before it put its spin on one of the most interesting (and brutal) elections in the nation’s history.

With all the entertaining fodder that this year’s election has been providing, the creators of the longest running prime-time scripted series put out this short clip titled “The Debateful Eight” where Marge loses sleep over how crazy things have been with all the candidates. In order to calm her anxiety, Homer tells her to imagine a world where all of them get along.

The clip includes the whole gang Hilary, Bernie, Ted, Marco, Jeb, Donnie, and all of the presidential hopefuls singing and getting along… until it turns into an all-out brawl. Watch it below:
