Book-to-television adaptations were busy making big casting announcements today, with Game of Thrones, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, and The Alienist all adding to their line-ups.
DC Comics series Krypton has added six series regular castmembers including Ian McElhinney, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, and Aaron Pierre. They join previously cast Cameron Cuffe and Georgina Campbell.
Better known for their work in tween-oriented series, Victoria Justice and Ryan McCartan are growing up on screen as sweethearts Janet and Brad in Fox’s TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The two-hour taped event is set to premiere in the fall.
The Witch‘s Anya Taylor Joy is joining Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula and Haley Lu Richardson in M. Night Shyamalan’s untitled thriller. James McAvoy, who joined the picture last week, is set to lead the Blumhouse-produced indie.
