Ellen Page is the first person to sign on to Netflix’s new ensemble superhero series Umbrella Academy, based on the Dark Horse comic book of the same name.

Israeli filmmaker Tali Shalom Ezer is set to helm Mercy, starring Ellen Page and Kate Mara as lovers-at-odds. The film also stars Amy Seimetz, Pablo Schreiber, and Elias Koteas.
Ellen Page has signed on to star in the zombie thriller The Third Wave from David Freyne, who will be making his feature directing debut. She joins previously cast Sam Kelley.
Ellen Page is currently in negotiations to star in a remake of the 1990 film that starred Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon and Keifer Sutherland.
