The upcoming pic The Pretenders has taken a huge step forward after being circulated around Hollywood for the past three years. James Franco has signed on to direct the romance and up-and-coming actors Jack Kilmer, Shameik Moore, and Jane Levy have signed on to star.
THE PRETENDERS
Set in the ’80s, two college friends fall in love with the same girl, creating a decade spanning, very unique love story between the threesome.
Logline: Two falsely imprisoned cousins, who upon their release, enact the greatest diamond hoax the world’s ever known as a revenge plot to get back at the greedy banker who stole their rightly earned money and sent them to jail.
