The first of the announced Star Wars spinoffs, Rogue One will take place between Episode III and Episode IV, but stray closer chronologically to A New Hope and will follow a band of resistance fighters on a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans.
The stars are in talks to join Felicity Jones and Ben Mendelsohn in the upcoming spin-off from Gareth Edwards.
The “Dark Knight Rises” star is in talks to join the upcoming “Star Wars” spin-off.
Set immediately before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, it tells the story of how the rebels got their hands on the plans to the Death Star, as well as depicting the first victory won by the rebel alliance and alluded to in the opening crawl to the first film in the Star Wars saga.
