ROGUE MALE

Marvel’s Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch, will star in and produce an adaptation of the classic British novel Rogue Male. Assassin’s Creed scribe Michael Lesslie will pen the script, which is based on the book by Geoffrey Household that was first published in 1939.

A British sportsman sets out to assassinate a European dictator, but when he’s caught, he is tortured, thrown off of a cliff, and left for dead. What follows is a survivalist thriller through which the sportsman must evade enemy agents as he escapes back home to England through the countryside.
