UTA is out with FORTY THIEVES by Ben Lustig & Jake Thornton.

After Legendary acquired the rights for a Pokémon move and decided on a topic — Detective Pikachu — they fast-tracked a crew to start working on the film. Now, Rob Letterman has been chosen to direct the film, based on a script by Nicole Perlman and Alex Hirsch.

A live-action feature based on the character of “Detective Pikachu” set in the larger Pokemon universe.

Sony is planning to bring the popular books series back to the bring screen as they announce Goosebumps 2 is in development. They are currently closing deals for director Rob Letterman and scribe Darren Lemke to reteam on the project.
