Julianne Moore ExcerptActors Julianne Moore, Ken Watanabe, and Demián Bichir are all set to star in the forthcoming film from director Paul Weitz, Bel Canto. Based on the best-seller of the same name by Ann Patchett, the script was adapted by Weitz and Anthony Weintraub. Distribution company Bloom is going to start international sales at the Toronto International Film Festival, which begins tomorrow.

Logline: Self-described misanthrope Elle Reid has her protective bubble burst when her 18-year-old granddaughter, Sage, shows up needing help. The two of them go on a day-long journey that causes Elle to come to terms with her past and Sage to confront her future.

Logline: Centers on a housewife who invites a young woman to interact with her family, only to learn she may be the daughter that the woman secretly abandoned at birth.

Logline: When a down-and-out high school counselor starts talking with a student that reminds him of himself, he decides to help the kid out by altering his transcripts.

Logline: A college student buys a second hand car that turns out to have magical powers: it can fly, and turns him into a superhero who must protect the city.

Logline: The whole gang returns to East Great Falls for their ten-year high school and remember the good times – only to be faced with the frightening realization that they’re no longer young teenagers.
