Producer Mike Medavoy and Towne had been trying to turn Crumley’s novel into a film for TriStar, but they’re now retooling it for an hour-long cable pilot.

Logline: Story follows a team sent to relaunch a research facility 6,000 meters below the ocean’s surface after it was destroyed following a mysterious discovery. As they begin to get the facility back online they quickly discover that whatever the previous team found does not want to be found.
