The film is based on the novel by Stephen Besecker, which follows the story of a CIA agent whose wife is accidentally killed in the crossfire of a mob hit gone wrong. He begins to trace crime lords in New York on a dangerous journey to locate her killer.
Logline: Pitched as being in the vein of “History of Violence”. When a lone priest with a murky past is left for dead by a vicious border town militia, he crawls back to life only to discover that the thugs who left him were actually the Sheriff’s Department in the small town he seeks refuge in.
