Between April 1st and April 30th, we tracked only 13 specs hitting the market. That is nearly a 31% decrease in specs out in comparison to March 2022. Though not the lowest volume out this year, it is certainly the lowest April in recent years (more on that soon). Of these 13 specs, 6 have some type of attachment, with one from January selling as well. That brings our total up to 7 successes of some type.

Nico van den Brink’s short follows a woman who learns that her neighbors — a mother and her two kids — have been killed. That would be enough to freak out anyone, but when she continues to hear the children running around and laughing, she really starts to get the creeps.

New Line Cinema and the creator of Saw have signed on to produce Keith Donohue’s 2014 novel about an autistic boy who brings the monsters that he draws to life.

An autistic 10-year-old is locked away from most of the world due to his Asperger’s and agoraphobia. He does, however, have the gift of bringing anything he draws to life; unfortunately he only seems to draw monsters.

Logline: Tells the true story of Rick Wershe, a teenager in Detroit who became the prolific cocaine trafficker known as “White Boy Rick,” but secretly worked as an undercover informant for the FBI and DEA.
