Story details are being kept under wraps, but it’s a reboot of the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise.

Damien Lewis’s non-fiction book about the creation of black ops during WWII is in final negotiations to be acquired by Paramount Pictures. Jerry Bruckheimer will produce for the studio.

The story takes place in 1939, with Germany destroying mainland Europe, Winston Churchill decided to change tactics: stop fighting under accepted gentlemanly rules of engagement.

Logline: Pitched as “Die Hard” in a hospital, tells the story of a cop who must defend himself and others while mobsters try to steal bank account information from a fellow patient.

Logline: Edgy, hard R-rated comedy centered on two brothers who own a black circus.
