Antonio Banderas has been tapped to star in the Simon West action comedy Salty based on the novel by Mark Haskell Smith.

Logline: Pitched as “Spinal Tap” meets “The Hangover,” follows a former sex addict who goes on vacation to Thailand with his wife but things start to go south when she’s kidnapped by pirates who are trying to raise money for a new boat.

Logline: A morgue attendant is tasked with delivering the severed arm of L.A.’s most notorious crime boss to the L.A. County Coroner, but his journey takes a turn for the worse when the man it belongs to comes looking for his lost limb.
