Follows the four Willoughby children: Timothy, twin brothers Barnaby A and Barnaby B, and little sister Jane, who are abandoned by their oblivious parents and must learn how to create a new family of their own.
Logline: Story (based on the children’s book of the same name) is a parody of classic children’s book cliches of orphaned children, evil parents, magical nannies and other wondrous adventures, as a pair of siblings discover an infant left on their doorstep, but can not be bothered with it, and give it away to the neighboring Candy millinaire, who raises the orphaned child with all the wealth and joy a child could ever desire… to which the two siblings, now decide they want to rid themselves of their evil parents to become orphans as well… unless the nanny can help them see the error of their ways.
Logline: Set in the future, a boy suspects that the emotionless, crime free, seemingly perfect world in which he lives may not be as utopian as it appears. In this perfect world where there is no conflict, racism or sickness, every member of this society has a specific role, and 12-year-old Jonas is selected to be the Receiver of Memories. The Giver is an old man who teaches the young boy how to use his gift, and slowly Jonas uncovers the truth behind his world’s past. He discovers that many years earlier his forefathers gave up humanity in order to have a stable society.
