Steven Spielberg has been tapped to direct the movie adaptation of The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara at Amblin Entertainment. The book, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Kertzer, will be adapted for the screen by Tony Kushner.

Simon Pegg is in talks to join Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of Ready Player One. He would join previously cast Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke, and Ben Mendelsohn.
