Rising star Joey King has been cast in the independent drama January Rain alongside Anthony Thorne. David Venghaus will direct, with Steve Snyder and Joel Eisenberg producing and scripting the film based on Thorne’s concept.
The biopic will focus on Louis’ historic two fights with German boxer Max Schmeling.
