Political drama Succession has landed a series order from HBO. The series from executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and writer Jesse Armstrong received a pilot order last summer, which McKay directed.

The British dramedy centers around the London police department, which is suffering from some serous public image issues. The Chief Constable brings in some outside help in the form of an American PR expert.

Logline: Two hapless but earnest friends decide to give purpose to their lives by protecting America’s borders from illegal immigrants. In the process they find themselves accidentally stranded in Mexico without identification and must sneak back into the USA.

Logline: Set in the near future where everything a person does, says or hears is recorded and can be played back via a brain implant. You need never forget a face again… but is that always a good thing?
