Director Roland Emmerich took to Twitter today to announced that It Follows star Maika Monroe has been cast in Independence Day Forever.The sequel will pick up twenty years after the events of the first film, following Will Smith’s character’s son and others as they do battle with the alien menace that’s returned for vengeance.
