Hayden Szeto

As his major motion picture debut, Hayden Szeto is a standout as the anxiously adorable love interest of Hailee Steinfeld’s cynical Nadine in The Edge of Seventeen. We had a chance to talk to Szeto about being the leading man, his experiences as an Asian Canadian in Hollywood, and how his character in the movie is similar to his high school self.

Everyone knows that growing up is hard, and life is no easier for high school junior Nadine, who is already at peak awkwardness when her all-star older brother starts dating her best friend.
