Liaise with filmmakers and talent on Lionsgate related projects and general business. Participate in weekend read meetings as well as read and track material.
Responsibilities include heavy scheduling, rolling calls, research, note-taking, setting pitches, coordinating travel, and overseeing updates to the company development/client reports.
Provide written coverage of scripted screenplays, completed Films, Television pilots, treatments and one-sheets.
Strong creative and communication skills with regard to evaluating and giving notes on scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, casting, music and mixes. Proven knowledge of story and script structure.
Reads scripts and other incoming material and provides coverage. Maintains current production document files throughout filming.
Reading script submissions and providing written summaries and recommendations for Development Executives.
Role is supporting a pair of award-winning filmmakers who have their own busy Production Company, working in both scripted and unscripted.
Assists with reviewing and analyzing incoming submissions (scripts, Films samples, etc.).
Typical duties: rolling calls, scheduling, helping make grids and other administrative jobs.
Manages supervisor’s calendar and schedules appointments. Screens and responds to incoming calls and correspondence.
Ideally, generally familiar with the many facets of feature filmmaking – i.e., development, Physical Production, Post Production, and business/legal affairs.
Arranges programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget.
Manage phone, calendar, and research for meetings; schedule virtual meetings and calls, internally and externally.
Reads scripts and other incoming material and provides coverage. Maintains current production document files throughout filming.
Tasks include lots of data entry, scheduling, script reading and screening films.
