“Rogue One” Honest Trailer Points Out All the Shots From the Ads That Weren’t In the Film (Video)

In honor of Star Wars Celebration this week, the gang at Screen Junkies has released their new Honest Trailer for ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, aka Suicide Squad: An Unnecessary Star Wars Story.

After warning us that we shouldn’t get too attached to this new gang of rebel heroes, the video points out all the shots that Disney used to market the movie that weren’t in the actual film, like Jyn staring down a TIE fighter and Saw Gerrera’s alternate haircut.

Screen Junkies also credits Alan Tudyk’s K2-SO with having “more personality than any 0f the human characters.” I’m going to have to agree with them on that one.

It’s especially funny how many Honest Trailers fans demanded the Screen Junkies take on Rogue One, but misspelled the title as “Rouge.”

Watch the video above, if only so you can compare the lightsaber action in Rogue One and A New Hope, which is set later in the Star Wars timeline.
