In a move that alters the literary landscape of Hollywood, longtime UTA partners Howie Sanders and Kassie Evashevski are leaving the agency in mid-October and heading to Anonymous Content, where they will become managers and producers.

Sanders and Evashevski deal in intellectual property, having run the book department together at UTA, and they plan to establish a literary rights division at Anonymous Content. Their exit is said to be amicable, as the duo will no doubt continue to work with the agency once they’re up and running at Anonymous.

Evashevski has worked for UTA since 2007, while Sanders has been there twice as long. Both are major figures in the literary world, where Evashevski is known for brokering author Stephanie Meyer’s deals for her Twilight series.

The addition of Sanders and Evashevski is a coup for Anonymous Content, the powerhouse company behind Oscar winners Spotlight and The Revenant, as well as hit TV series such as True Detective, Mr. Robot and 13 Reasons Why.

Deadline broke the news, which was confirmed by the outgoing UTA agents and Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin.
