Just a reminder to all of you before you disappear for the holidays…
If you’ve been a subscriber to Tracking-Board for a while, you know our feelings on all of these ridiculous “lists” that come out every year… however this years blacklist was a little ridiculous with some of it’s scripts chosen, and the progressive rate toward production most of them had already obtained. Needless to say, Carson Reeves over at SCRIPTSHADOW has decided to do something about it…
ScriptShadow, as you know, has been featured on our site several times before as one of our favorite links, and fun reads. The script reviews are often spot on, and both informative and critical without ruining the movie-going experience that will follow (sometimes).
So, why are we sending you there today? Well, looks like they share a little of our lack of enthusiasm for the orgy of “lists” created this year, however also understand the need for such, and perhaps even the excitement of reading them. So, this year ScriptShadow is compiling another executive/agent-less list from development people, assistants, readers, etc. of their favorite scripts this year. He’s asking for a top 5 list (in order) of your favorite scripts this year, emailed to him no later then Thursday. He will compile the results and give us one more list (before our very own – Best of the Best: Most Read Scripts From the Blacklist Award).
